2008-2009:
Fall, 2008: The Hunchback of Notre Dame by Patrick Rainville Dorn
The original story of this classic is not funny, but this version is! We had a lot of fun with this fast moving, wise cracking, play--except Mrs. Brant hated painting bricks after doing the entire "cathedral"!
Spring, 2009: Once Upon a Mattress
This show featured a very odd princess, an overly mothered prince and a entire kingdom unable to wed until that prince does! A musical version of "The Princess and the Pea", it originally featured Carol Burnett in her break out musical role. We built the castle, the 8 foot tall bed and a lot of costumes for this hilarious musical!
2009-2010:
Fall, 2009: The Christmas Carol by Brian Way
This play was set apart by the use of a giant rotating stage! It took just about everything the tech crew had to keep up with changing the flats behind while scenes were going on in front on the revolve--very sweaty techies ! We made it even though Charb came down with a sudden infection and was out until dress rehearsal week!
Spring, 2010: The Pirates of Penzance by Gilbert and Sullivan
